As part of my commitment to address residents concerns about food prices and supplies, I visited the local food shops in Mile End. In the whole, they have not increased their prices but felt a shock to their stocks and supply. All agreed that not allowing customers to buy items in bulk is the best way forward, allowing them over time to replenish their stocks. They all face uncertainty in this crisis, however it is important they remain open and are given support. Will be writing to the Council to highlight some of the concerns raised.
