Community Support for COVID 19 Outbreak – Local Mutual Aid Groups in Mile End

Residents in Mile End have self-organised into local community groups, coordinating mutual aid and support during the COVID 19 Outbreak.

These are groups where residents can get information, and also volunteer to help:

The Coordinators of the groups have had safeguarding training and have put the relevant measures in place.

Mile End Ward has been divided into five zones, link below to each WhatsApp group:

Zone A – Mile End Station and Cemetery Park (Brokesley, Eric and Treby Estate)

Zone B – Bow Common Lane to St. Pauls Way (Bede and Leopold Estate)

Zone C – Burdett Estate to Limehouse Cut (Burdett Estate)

Zone D – Bartlett Park and East India Dock Road (Farrance, Hind Grove, West Lansbury Estates)

Zone E – Mile End Park South/Limehouse (Locksley and Turners Road Estate/Salmon Lane area)
