Kickstart to the campaign in Mile End with #Labour #TeamMileEnd
On Saturday 2nd December 2017 I went out canvassing with my colleagues Cllr David Edgar and Asma Islam. We went to Wentworth Mews in between Eric Street and Burdett Road. There we discussed with residents the intolerable Anti Social Behavior (ASB) residents faced in the block, in particular the staircase adjacent to the block.
Residents are plagued daily by gangs using the staircase as a place to use drugs, an activity which causes additional nuisance by the stink it causes throughout the block.
A simple case of installing an additional door can reduce this behavior as has happened in other block in Tower Hamlets.
