Below is the 3 Tier System Lockdown Explainer, along with inforgraphics and links.
Announcement
Following the government announcement confirming that London will be going in to tier 2 as of Saturday 17th October. I am sharing the relevant links:

What does this mean?
Under the tiering system announced earlier this week, a number of areas across the country – including London – will be moving to Local COVID Alert Level High (level 2, or the middle of the three tiers) at the weekend. Please see table for level 2 attached to this email, I am also sharing the information for tier 1 and tier 3.
As all alert levels allow for essential work and essential travel to continue, the changing alert levels do not change our overall operational approach or ways of working, we continue as we are.
As before, you should keep going to your place of work as you have been doing unless there’s a specific reason why you can’t do this – in which case you should discuss any concerns with your line manager.
Personal Impact
The changes coming in to effect will mean a ban on households mixing indoors including in pubs and restaurants. The rule of 6 will apply to meeting outdoors and in private gardens. This is difficult but very important in terms of curbing the spread. This will impact the way we keep in touch with our family and loved ones.
