1.Trees for Mile End

Thank you, everyone, for signing the petition, we have received, the necessary number of signatures for the proposal to be heard in full Council in November.

If anybody wants to add more to the proposal, please contact me and I’ll put you in charge of Nick.

2. The proposal by TFL for Cycle Route – Burdett Road (Hackney to Canary Wharf)

Assembly member Unmesh Desai AM, is taking up the case. As the TFL proposals are not acceptable and there seem to be inaccuracies in the TFL report.

Will update as soon as I hear from him.

3. New Council Housing Development,  Southern Grove E3 (Veolia Site)

Met up with Council Officers, to express residents concerns on Friday. Scale of development at the back, lack of social housing on site and lack of community space.

I am due to get a briefing paper, will post it. Also, will sit down with local housing campaigners and see if we can increase social housing percentage on the site.

4. Safer Neighbour Hood Ward Panel Meeting – Please attend if you want to raise issues of ASB and Criminal Behaviour

5. Local Infrastructure Fund Workshop

A lot of money from s106 has not been allocated, come and take part i workshops to give your views. Do we need new community centres, play area, etc? If, so where?
