Bartlett Park works are starting on site this week. The work will be carried out in several stages to enable the park to remain open throughout.
The works are due to be completed at the end of October 2019. The approximate phases are as follows:
• January – end April 2019 – North East Corner of Park – Upper North Street and Cottal Street Junction with the new inclusive playground (start mid Feb, finish mid May)
• End April to mid October 2019 – Canalside & Cottal Street
• Mid March 2019 – end June 2019 – South East Corner Park – Upper North Street and Lindfield Street • End April 2019 – mid September 2019 – South West Corner Park – Lindfield Street to Stainsby Road including new changing rooms
• End July 2019 – End October 2019 – Adventure Playground site
Further Residents Consultation
In the next few weeks the Council plans to produce a newsletter to advise residents about the works, the timeframe and about our plans for consultation on the future of the Adventure Playground site.
The Council has scheduled two consultation sessions in February:
- Tuesday 19th Feb 10am – 4pm at Poplar Union;
- Saturday 23rd February 10am – 4pm Bartlett Adventure Playground.
